Obituary of carol lee hare

Carol Lee Hare, 78, died at her home on Sunday February 9, 2020 after she had battled cancer for five years. She was born on November 19, 1941 in Corwith, Iowa, daughter of Clair (Bus) and Glenice Olson. She married Ivan K. Hare, Jr. on February 7, 1959. Carol retired in 2006 from the Naval Air Station, Department of Morale, Welfare and Recreation after 19 years of service. She is preceded in death by her mother, Glenice Olson; step father, Clair (Bus) Olson and father, Francis (Bud) Steinlicht. Carol is survived by her husband, Ivan of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Marylee Stenger of Ocala, FL; sons, Rodney Hare of Hay, NC and Steven Hare of Wilkesboro, NC; sister, Janice Fisher of Waterloo, IA; sisters in law, Lylia Hare of Waterloo, IA and Evlyn Hare of Independence, IA; grandchildren, Tim Simmons of Penfield, PA, Katherine Simmons of Ocala, FL, Tyler Hare of Waterloo, IA, Steven Hare Jr. of Millers Creek, NC and Amber Roton of West Jefferson, NC; great grandchildren, Rosaleigh R. Welch of Ocala, FL and Jackson B. Hare of Millers Creek, NC; aunt, Beverly Everett and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 with visitation from 10:00–12:00 pm, service at 12:00 pm at Pensacola Baptist Temple, 5000 Cerny Road, Pensacola, Florida 32526. Interment will follow the service at Barrancas National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roger White, Karl Stenger, Rodney Hare, Steven Hare, Ron McClanahan and Dale Roger. A luncheon will follow at Pensacola Baptist Temple.
