Obituary of Walter Louis Paroby
Walter Louis “Louie” Paroby, 70 born on December 21, 1948 in Quincy, IL, passed into eternal life on December 17, 2019. He resided in Pace, Florida at the time of his death.
Louie grew up in an Air Force family! After he graduated from high school he joined the Army. When he finished flight school Louie went to Vietnam where he served as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 flying helicopters. Louie also was an instructor pilot till he got out of the Army. He worked for 22 years at NAS NADEP and was known as Animal and worked at Whiting Field, known as Cowboy, for 22+ years. Louie served his country his whole life with honor, pride, precision and extreme technicality in order to ensure his birds didn’t come down.
Louie lived each day as it was his last. He was well respected and an honorable man and had strong family values. Louie loved with his whole heart and excelled at dancing. Louie’s great joy was being reconnected with his lost McKim family in 2016. His greatest joy in life was being a grandfather.
Louie is preceded in death by his parents, Lt. Colonel Michael J. Paroby and Bereth Clarissa Paroby; brother, Mickey Paroby and sister, Sarada “Sissy” Paroby.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnna Hillman Paroby; daughters, Gracey Truitt and Maggie Jennings; grandchildren, Dalton Kirk Jennings, Lillee Grace Truitt and Lexi Faith Truitt; sisters, Anna Barnes, Grace Lash, Mary Reynolds; brother, David McKim; other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 10:00 - 12:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 7253 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504.
