Obituary of william alan bland

William Alan Bland "Bill" passed away on October 17, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Bill was a very special man and loved by anyone that met him. He was kind, considerate, caring, and he loved his dogs. He loves all animals and enjoyed being around them. Bill also loved the outdoors, and loved camping, fishing, swimming, and he loved car races. Bill was a welder by trade and loved his job. He rarely missed working and worked right up until 2 months before he passed. Bill is preceded in death his parents, and by two sister-in-laws, Violette Loraine Corey and Laurie Miller, who just passed away on March 24, 2019. Bill is leaving behind his loving wife, Diane Bland; daughter, Kristine (Mike) Wilson; grandchildren, Angelia, Brian, Tabatha, and Kelly; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also leaving behind his lost but found family, Brenda Hayes, Rebecca, a brother, John Roger and two brothers he never met; brother-in-law, Mike Miller and sister-in-laws, Patti Phinisee, Beth Humfeld, and Tracy Humfeld. Bill loved all of his friends very much and wants them all to know that. Thank you to Vitas Hospice for all of the love and kindness they gave during his fight with this horrible kidney cancer. Thank you to the wonderful people at the Family-Funeral & Cremation that treated him with such respect when they took him from our home. Also a special thank you to Anita Hall and John Snow that rarely left his side during the last month of his life.
