Obituary of Engle Cline May, jr.

Engle Cline May, Jr., age 80, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 in Gulf Breeze, FL. Cline was born October 6, 1939 in Biloxi, MS to the late Colonel Engle C. May, Sr. and Lydia Falcon May. He spent most of his childhood years at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA. He graduated from the Academy in 1958. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where he studied Marine Biology and business. Following graduation, he married and had 2 children and lived in Norcross, GA. He worked in sales in the medical supply business, which he eventually ran from his home in Gulf Breeze, FL. Cline also served as caretaker, along with his wife, Patsy, for his parents the last ten years of their lives. Cline is survived by his wife of 26 years, Patsy Williams May, of Atlanta, GA.; his daughter, Pamela May Roberge (Josh) of Gulf Breeze, FL.; his son, Engle Cline (Tres) May, 3rd of Waleska, GA. and his sister, Christine May Boyd (Luther) of Pass Christian, MS; three grandchildren, Carley, Stephanie and Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Daphne, Damon and Trinity, as well as his current beloved pets, Eli and Buddy. Cline loved to listen to music and to be with family and numerous dogs and one cat. He enjoyed cooking and sharing time with friends. We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Gulf Breeze Hospital, Baptist Hospital, Baptist Home Health Care nurses and Emerald Coast nurses, as well as all his other doctors for their wonderful care and kindness. Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00pm at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 1 Saint Francis Drive, Gulf Breeze, Florida 32561.
