Obituary of Bobbie JOE Spence

USAF TSGT Bobbie Joe Spence, 85 years old, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 16, 2019. Bobbie was born on September 18, 1933 in Beauty, Kentucky. He joined the US Marine Corps at an early age and served 4 years. After that, he joined the US Air Force and spent the next 22 years serving our country. He fought in both Vietnam and the Korean War. It was during his time in Korea that he met his future wife, Kim. They married and moved to the states where he retired. They raised three daughters, Patty, Barbara, and Joyce and resided in Crestview, Florida. He is preceded by his parents, Russell & Neva Spence; siblings, James and Stella and his wife of 44 yrs, Kim. Bobbie is survived by his three daughters, Patty Holmes (Michael) of Mobile, AL, Barbara Spence of Panama City Beach, FL and Joyce Walz (Rob) of Pace, FL and cherished family friend, Charles Davis of Crestview, FL. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Joshua Holmes, Max Holmes, Olivia Holmes, Owen Walz, and Isla Walz. A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 12:30pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, Florida 32508. The procession will meet at Olive Baptist Church-Warrington Campus, 103 West Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32506 at 12:00pm.
