Obituary of steven roland donaldson

Steven Roland Donaldson, 57, of Pensacola, Florida passed away at his home on Thursday, August 22, 2019. Steven ended his life after losing his mother 16 days prior. His mom, “Mo”, was his caretaker for the last 30 years, after Steven suffered a closed-head injury in an automobile accident. She was always there for him. After the devastating loss of his best friend, I want to believe he died of a broken heart. Steven was born May 26, 1962 at Richards-Gebaur AFB, Missouri where his father, Joe F. Donaldson, was stationed in the Air Force. His mother was the former Monetta Baker from Patchogue, Long Island, New York. Steve graduated from Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia. Steve will always be remembered for his big heart, generosity and non-conventional sense of humor. Steven is survived by his sister, Jonetta Jewell, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and brother, Michael Donaldson, of Columbus, Georgia.
