Obituary of Lowell Edward Kelsey

Lowell Edward Kelsey, 65, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, 4:42 am at the Sacred Heart Covenant Hospice Unit in Pensacola. Lowell fought a courageous battle against Cancer for five years. Lowell was born August 23, 1953 in Mattoon, Illinois, a son of Merwon J. and Ila G. Talbot Kelsey. He was an entrepreneur starting several businesses, with the latest being Kelsey’s Appliances with 4 stores in the Pensacola area. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael Kelsey and nephew, Jimmy Smith. Lowell is survived by his sisters, Janice G. (Kelsey) Johnson of Flossmoor, Illinois and Karin A. (Kelsey) Smith of Aurora, Ohio. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, Kevin Kelsey, Heather (Kelsey) Clark, Matt Johnson, Jamie Johnson, Greg Johnson, and Angie (Smith) Williams; two great-nephews and three great-nieces.
