Obituary of Kenneth Leroy Thomas

On Saturday, August 17, 2019, Kenneth “Ken” Thomas passed away at the age of 65 in Pace, Florida. He served in the U.S. Navy, worked at Callaway Chemical Company, Exxon Mobil, Vulcan Materials, and was a business owner. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Thomas, and mother, Elizabeth Benjamin. Ken is survived by his two children, Alex and Trent Thomas; sister, Sandra Barbaree and his fiancée, Kay Sumner. A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, Florida 32508, the procession will meet at 1:00 pm at Olive Baptist Church-Warrington Campus, 103 West Winthrop Ave., Pensacola, Florida 32507. A visitation will be held in his honor in Columbus, Georgia at the Linwood Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm EST.
