Obituary of Brian anthony hansen

Brian Anthony Hansen, 47, of Milton, FL went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Brian was born in Akron, Ohio on October 1st, 1971 to George Hansen and Barbara (Stitt) Hansen. He attended Pace Elementary, Pace Middle, and Pace High Schools through 1988 and then moved with his family to Tacoma, WA where he graduated from Stadium High School in 1990. Brian loved Auburn football, jeans and cowboy boots, country dancing, fishing, working on his ’87 Camaro, grilling out, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his godmother, Susan Stoltz; aunts Jackie (Glandorff) Hansen and Jeanne (Hansen) Stoltz; uncles Fred Hansen, Larry Stoltz, and Bob Templeton; grandparents Paul and Lucille (McMillan) Stitt, Ruth (Lemke) Hansen, and George and Anita (Walkup) Hansen. Brian is survived by his parents, George and Barbara (Stitt) Hansen; sisters, Yvonne (Hansen) Pardue, , FL and Elizabeth (Hansen) Griffin; brother, Sam (Ruth) Hansen; nieces, Jessica (Griffin) Rosado and Madison Salter; great-nieces, Amara Griffin and Hayley Rosado; nephews, Joshua Griffin, Christian Rosado and Alex Salter; uncles, Bill Lutman, David Oblisk and Jay Klewe; aunts, Adele (Hansen) Lutman, Carol (Stitt) Oblisk and Debbie (Stitt) Klewe; godfather, Fred Hansen and numerous cousins. Brian fought a long and courageous battle against aspergilloma. We are grateful that Brian is no longer in pain and we are comforted by the knowledge that he will spend eternity with his Savior. Brian loved life. Come help us celebrate his life and the special way he touched us all. Please dress casually, comfortably and colorfully, jeans and cowboy boots are appropriate as this is not a formal affair. A Celebration mass will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 with visitation from 10:00 – 10:30 am and service at 10:30 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 6451 Park Avenue, Milton, Florida 32570. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, www.rmhc-nwfl.org or Shepherd Help and Rescue, 5207 NW 116th Avenue, Coral Springs, Florida 33076.
