Obituary of ella jean french

Ella Jean French, 74, left us on June 9, 2019 with her family by her side. Ella was born on July 16, 1944 in Beatrice, Alabama to Rafford and Ella Fountain where she was the 9th child of 16 children and she graduated from Monroe County Training School. Ella moved to Pensacola and married Willie French and had 2 children. She worked as a housekeeper for Holiday Inn and went back to school and became a CNA and retired from the health field many years later. Ella was also a faithful and devoted Sunday school teacher at Victory Tabernacle Christian Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rafford and Ella Fountain and grandson, Darel Mims. Ella leaves to cherish her memories son, Edward French and daughter, Elisha (Thadius) Thomas of Pensacola, Florida; sister, Margaret (Lloyd) Sapp; brothers, Shelly Fountain, William Fountain, Freddie Fountain, Harold (Angela) Fountain and Arthur Lee Fountain; grandchildren, Jacquez Union, Vanessa Mims and Jasmine (Donterrious) Thomas-Bell. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Ella will be truly missed and forever loved. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 am and service at 11:00 am at Community House of Prayer, 6400 N. Old Palafox Hwy., Pensacola, Florida 32503. Interment will follow services at Resthaven Gardens Cemetery, 1084 Massachusetts Ave., Pensacola, Florida 32505.
