Obituary of joseph eugene decaylor

Joseph Eugene DeCaylor, 59, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. Farewell to a wonderful man, father, brother and friend, gone too soon to be with Our Lord. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him and he leaves behind a legacy of memories. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Doris May; mother, Betty DeCaylor and sister, Rita DeCaylor. Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph C. DeCaylor, Sr.; grandson, Joseph C. DeCaylor, Jr.; granddaughter, Jalisha DeCaylor; stepfather, James K. DeCaylor; brothers, John DeCaylor and Billy (Carol) DeCaylor; sisters, Sharon (Mike) Wallace and Dawn (Michael) Black; nieces, Chrissy Loving and Brandi (Tim); nephews, Tyler (Morgan), Anthony, Bobbie and James DeCaylor; Aunt, Debbie Gulledge and cousin, Wendy Clark; also longtime girlfriend, Theresa Williams; Albert, Robert and many other family and friends. Joseph was a rock to many and you could call upon him for anything and he would be there. He helped many people and he had a wish of opening a homeless shelter. Joseph took many children under his wing and cared for them as his own. He also loved going places, fishing, working with his boys and family. He had a heart of gold and we can only imagine how he will light up the Gates of Heaven with his smile.
