Obituary of Julia Diane Johnson

Julia Diane Johnson, 63, of Pensacola, Florida passed away after a brief illness Sunday, April 14, 2019. She was born to the late James (tt boy) and the late Ida Mae Reynolds. Julia attended school in Escambia County graduating in 1974; upon graduating she attended Roeffler Cosmetology School. After graduation, she started traveling and worked in modeling where she met and married her love, Mr. Joseph Johnson. She enjoyed life and continued being happy and friendly to everyone she met, including the staff at the nursing home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Clinton Johnson; her parents; two brothers, Jimmie Williams and James Howard Reynolds; one sister, Patricia Reynolds; granddaughter, Shaenavia Williams and other relatives. Cherishing her legacy and love are her son, Shaena (Marie) Reynolds; brother, James Eugene Beasley; two sisters, Deborah LeGrant and Audrey (Lenzel) Daniels; four great-grandchildren, Joe Reynolds, KeShaun Johnson, KaShauna Porter and Diamond Reynolds; five nieces, Kameshia Thames, Belinda (Vincent) Feagins, Patricia Jones of Lakeland, FL, Latoria Reynolds of California and Jamie Beasley of Atlanta, Georgia; two nephews, Damarius and Derrick Daniels; great-nephews and grand-nieces and many other relatives and friends.. A Committal Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 12:30pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, Shelter B, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, Florida 32508. Those wishing to attend will meet at 11:30am, Friday, May 3, 2019 at Wal-Mart, 501 North Navy Boulevard, Pensacola, Florida 32507. Repass will be held immediately following the Committal Service at Barrancas National Cemetery at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church 1822 North T Street, Pensacola, Florida 32505. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rosewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Baptist Hospital Emergency Room Staff, Fourth Floor East and Family-Funeral & Cremation for all their assistance and kindness.
