Obituary of William Thomas Saunders

William "Bill" Thomas Saunders, age 84, died on April 4, 2019 in Pace, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his two daughters, Gail and Cathy; son-in-law's Darrel and Dennis and two step-grandchildren, Christopher and Caitlin, who he helped to raise for eighteen years, as well as five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bill was born on February 14, 1935 in Oxford, North Carolina, to parents Lucille and Malcolm Saunders. Bill was a great family man and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also an avid life-long NASCAR fan. Bill will be remembered for his great personality. With his sales career he traveled immensely and never met a stranger. A family celebration was held in his honor on April 9, 2019. He will be deeply missed by his family and numerous friends.
