Obituary of James Leroy Baggett IV

James Leroy Baggett, IV, 51, passed away on Wednesday morning, March 13, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James L. Baggett, III and Patricia Ann Pendergast Baggett; grandparents, James and Ceil Baggett and Ellis and Annie Pendergast. He is survived by his aunts, Sandra Vaughan and Beverly Maddox; uncle, Gary Baggett; cousins, Fran Collins, Jan Vann and Ann (Steve) Bobe and his companion and girlfriend, Donna Wilson. Jim worked at Rushing Properties and previously at Exxon Mobile. He valued the many friendships he made at work. He loved his stepchildren, Amy, William and Angel and Dana’s children, Carrie (Jared) Sweeting, Ronnie Faircloth, Jarrett Wilson, Kailey Wilson and grandson, Landon Wilson. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Clear Springs United Methodist Church, 27889 County Road 112, Robertsdale, AL 36567. Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30am with service at 11:30am. Interment will be immediately following the service at the Clear Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the family to assist with medical and funeral expenses.
