Obituary of Karen Louise Olansen

Karen Greene Olansen, born and raised in Hudson MI, loving wife, mother and Grammy, passed away in Pensacola Florida, after a prolonged illness, on the morning of February 28, 2019. She will be remembered for her love for her family, her friends and her furry friends. She touched many lives, and was beautiful both inside and out. Her spunky attitude and her ability to live life to the fullest is something we and her many friends around the world, will carry with us. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Greene and Audrey DeLine Greene; her sister, Joyce; her brother, Billy; her nephew, Michael and countless others she loved and cherished. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 40 years, Tom; daughters, Sarah (Mike) and Connie (Johnny) and her five grandchildren, Justin, Thomas, Hannah, Ashton and Emma. All that knew her felt the deep love and compassion for not only her family and pets, but for anyone who took time to know her. She will be returned to Hudson later this year and placed alongside her family at Maple Grove Cemetery. A memorial in Hudson will be organized at that time. Karen’s beloved cats were all rescues, so in lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to Petsmart Charities or another animal charity of your choice.
