Obituary of Lucy H. Little-Mitchell

May 17, 1930 ~ January 4, 2019 Lucy H. Little-Mitchell, 88, of Cantonment, Florida passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019. Lucy had been a resident of Pensacola, Florida, for many years after moving from Delton, Michigan. She was a homemaker and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sander and Lucy M. Noordermeer; sister, Irene Helmer; brothers, Irving Hurlburt and Sander Noordermeer; husbands, Jack A. Little and Osber Mitchell; sons, Larry Little and Michael Little. Her legacy will live on through her children, Jack A. Little (Alice), Mary L. Brown (George), Janet Simington, Sandy King, David B. Little (Debra), and Lora Little; a sister, Lena Little; a special friend, Mary Russell; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Her last days were made comfortable and peaceful by the caring staff at Bayside Health and Rehabilitation Center. A private celebration of her life will be held by her family members in the coming weeks.
