Obituary of Tena Rose Opava

Tena Rose Opava, 69, of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018. Born on 13 June 1949 to Zella Rosalyn and Martin A. Marcus, Tena Rose Marcus Opava served her nation for over 40 years in both the US Navy, retiring as a Commander, and in Federal service. Since her retirement she has traveled extensively, taken up ballroom dancing, and volunteered her time with the Navy Cryptological Museum. She had been a dedicated member of the First Church of the Nazarene since 1988. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Doug Rosario; her son, Adam Opava and her grandchildren, Donovan Rosario, Connor Rosario, Megan Opava, and Caleb Opava. A celebration of life and potluck will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3475 Pine Forest Road, Cantonment, Florida 32533.
