Obituary of Jerry R. Parker, Sr.

Jerry R. Parker, Sr., of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, ending his battle with cancer. He was born in Morehead City, North Carolina on September 18, 1951, and soon moved to Pensacola where he lived the remainder of his life. Jerry enjoyed working as a mechanic with his father at Parkers Auto Service for 30+ years. He also loved fishing any chance he could and playing pool. He is survived by his parents, Mel and Irene Parker; his children, Rusty (Tabatha) Parker, Kristin (Aaron) Johnson, Mike Parker, and Thomas Parker; his siblings, Mike (Marguerite) Parker and Pam (Chuck) Lauritzen. He had five grandchildren, Sierra, Shelby, Dakota, Emma and Maci. He also had two great-grandchildren, Paisley and Paxton. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
