Obituary of William "Bill" D. Ballew

Mr. William “Bill” D. Ballew, 86, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018. He was born April 18, 1932 in Winona, Missouri to Helen Thomas and Vernon Ballew. Bill graduated from Pensacola High School in 1950 and then obtained an Associate Degree from Pensacola Junior College (P.S.C.). He enlisted in the United States’ Navy and served from 1951 to 1955. He began employment with Monsanto in 1957 as a machinist and retired in 1987 with 30 years of service. Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann Ballew; his special niece, Amy Emma and many other nieces and nephews. We would like to give a special thanks to Covenant Hospice, D.J., Dee, and the following caregivers: Amy Emma, Michell Dycus and Jackie Dycus. At Bill’s request there will be no funeral service. At a later date, the family and a few friends will have a celebration of life.
