Obituary of Michelle Marie Pittman

Michelle Marie Pittman, 57, of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully Saturday, September 27th, 2018 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Michelle was born March 10, 1960 in Pensacola, FL. Michelle had been a nurse and enjoyed meeting the physical and emotional needs of the patients in her care. She loved science fiction, especially Dr. Who and Star Wars, and was thrilled to meet one of the actors who portrayed Dr. Who at Pensacon. Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Pittman and Dorothy Hoffman Pittman and her nephew, Jeffrey Corey. She is survived by her sisters, Sheila (Dennis) Holley and Annette (Shannon) Corey; brother, Jack R. Pittman Jr.; nieces, Jackie (Anthony) Summers, Stacey Smith, Kirsten Holley, Ally (David) Corey Wade, Natasha Pittman and Lauren Pittman; nephew, Luke Holley; step-mother, Kaye Pittman and her fur-baby, Odie. She also leaves behind many great nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service celebrating Michelle’s life will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the cross at Bayview Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Covenant Hospice (choosecovenant.org) or the Humane Society (pensacolahumane.org).
