Obituary of Matthew P. Gould

Matthew Paul Gould, age 61, passed away Monday, August 3rd at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. He was born January 31, 1957 in Newark, New Jersey to William and Katherine Gould, and resided in Pensacola from 1964. Here he met Patricia Ard and they married July 6, 1982. Starting out as a tankerman on the Mississippi river in 1980, he went to work as a Barge Captain in 1989 for Moran, operating out of the Northeast. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the company of his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; brothers, Johnny, Billy, Patrick, and Mark; sons, Jeremy, Eric and Ryan, and grandson, Skylar; as well as many neices and nephews. A Remembrance for Matthew will be held at his home at 5983 Pursley Avenue, Pensacola FL from 5:00-8:00pm, Saturday, September 15, 2018.
