Obituary of Patsy K. Capps

Patsy Kay Ratliff Capps, 65, of Jay, Florida passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Jay Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, James and Syble Ratliff; daughter, Katie Elizabeth Wilson; sister, Alma Dixon; brothers, Tommy and Dallas Ratliff and nephews, Mark Dixon and Byron Ratliff. She is survived by her sisters, Patty Inman of Jay, Florida and Amanda “Lucy” Amerson of Century, Florida and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her special friend, Donna Peacock. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with funeral services following at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Jay Chapel, 3853 Highway 4, Jay, Florida. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Church Cemetery, 4200 Ebenezer Church Road, Jay, Florida. Pallbearers will be her nephews: Kevin Dixon, Justin Amerson, Austin Dixon, Brenton Emmons, Dylan Dixon, Quinton Emmons, and Cameron Day. Honorary pallbearers will also be her nephews: Bert Dixon, Eddie Dixon, Jimmy “Daniel” Wood, Matthew Amerson, Dalton Dixon, Tyler Dixon and Jonathan Ratliff. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Elder and the staff of Jay Hospital for their care during her stay.
