Obituary of Joel Y. Sartain

Mr. Joel Y. Sartain, of Milton, FL, passed away comfortably surrounded by family, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the age of 65. He was born to parents, Billy F. Sartain and Rose (Gun Sim Mew) McNamee on January 3, 1953 in Honolulu, HI. Joel is survived by his loving wife, Terry J. Sartain and his children, Christopher J. Sartain (Nicole), Brandon J. Sartain (Kara), and Briana F. Wigley (David). He is also survived by his father, Billy F. Sartain; his brothers, Bill (Susan), Thomas, Barry; his sisters, Cheryl, Patricia, Marla, Joy (Gary); his loving in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Joel has five beautiful grandchildren that brought so much joy to his life: Gavin, Miles, Stella, Colin and Maddie. He is preceded in death by his mother (Rose), step-mother (Willa B), and sister (Beverly). Joel proudly served in the U.S. Army, was a Certified Automotive Master Technician of more than 40 years, a lifetime H.O.G. member, an avid outdoorsman and a talented artist. Mr. Sartain will be buried in a private ceremony in the coming months.
