Obituary of Howard "Butch" Leonard Hilliard

Howard Leonard “Butch” Hilliard, 75 passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 in the comfort of his home. Mr. Hilliard was born May 31, 1942 in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service on September 30, 1981 as a Master Sergeant. He is preceded in death by his mother, Zella Hanna Maines Hilliard; father, Leonard Harry Hilliard and brothers, Jack Hilliard and Robert Hilliard. Mr. Hilliard is survived by his wife, Nongnard “Nong” Hilliard; his sisters, Shirley Taylor and Ruth Funk; his children, Benjamas V. Miller, Pkpron V. Yorsangchai and son-in-law Somjate Yorsangchai, Jariya V. Summers and son-in-law Scott E. Summers, Torsak Vimoktayon, Verayoot Vimoktayon, Henry S. Hilliard and daughter-in-law Rachel Hilliard, Leslie Gordon Hilliard and Kevin Lane Hilliard; grandchildren, Steve Temple and his wife Ashlee Temple, Craig Ty Eubanks, Doungpron V. Maneenoy, Scott E. Summers, Jr., Karina M. Summers and her spouse, Thomas R.A. Lane, Blake A. Summers, Torsak Vimoktayon, Jr., Christopher Vimoktayon, and Kayden Vimoktayon; great-grandchildren, Adrien Felix Summers, Braxton Scott Summers, Camden Jayce Summers and Jensen Lee Summers. A military funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 am, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola. The funeral procession will leave from 103 W. Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, Florida at 10:00 am.
