Obituary of Penny S. Johnson

Our sweet Penny passed away on March 6, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She was born to Hendrick and Elizabeth Reid in Miami, Florida on August 31, 1962. She was preceded in death by beloved grandparents, Lucellie and Pete Jinright. Penny is survived by her son, Jaylen; brothers, Patrick Reid of Sheridan, WY and Walter Reid of South Florida. Penny had many favorite nieces, nephews, and cousins--most notably, special niece Natalie Minott, Uncle Al Reid of Parrish, FL, Aunt and Uncle Rita and Carlos Duncan of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; cousins, Mark, Robin, and special cousin Scot Roberts; good friend, Vinny Martina and friend of loving and positive influence, Susie Chadwick. Penny spent many years working for Cracker Barrel and Embassy Suites Restaurants. She was very active in her culinary efforts, working happily for many local chefs. There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Location is to be at 222 Sweetwater Lane Freeport, FL 32439.
