Obituary of Katherine Graves Pearson

Katherine “Kay” Marie Graves Pearson, of Pensacola, died January 23, 2018 after a sudden decline in health after celebrating her 86th birthday on November 29. Kay was born in Pierceville, GA but has resided in Pensacola since 1958. She retired from Monsanto in 1985. Kay is preceded in death by her daughter, Nina Howard; son, David Graves and husbands Beecher Graves and William Pearson. Kay is survived by her daughter, Donna (Michael) Pollock; sister, Ellen Cluck of Galena OH; grandson, Charles (Becky) Payne; granddaughter, Sara Howard and great-grandchildren Wyatt and Bailey Payne and her precious dog Maggie Mae. She also leaves an extended family of nieces and nephews including Terry Podewils, Carolyn Tomko Fogg, Joe Tomko and Victor A Davis. A Celebration of Life and scattering of ashes will be done in the future when warm winds blow. The family wishes to thank the staff of West Florida Hospital, Lifecare Center and Covenant Hospice for their kindness in caring for Kay during the last days of her life.
