Obituary of Eva Mae Palmer

“Eva Mae” Palmer, 86, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. Eva Mae was born in Wilcox County, Alabama and moved to Pensacola where she joined the Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. Eva Mae was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; her only daughter, Willette Louise Gilchrist; her cousin, Kate Benjamin and her great-grandson Eric White, Jr. Eva Mae leaves behind her “favorite” grandson, Taurus Jerido; granddaughter, Sheree (Harrell) Terrell; son-in-law, Mark Gilchrist; four great grandchildren, Ri’Laysha, Shataura, Quamorien and Kataura; cousin, Lelia Benjamin and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Services following at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, 1213 West Blount Street, Pensacola, Florida.
