Obituary of Isabel Evangelin Jones Goss

Isabel was born February 11, 1924. She was a native of Tichnor, Arkansas but has resided in Pensacola since 1959. She was a member of Ensley United Methodist Church, a World War II Navy veteran, a charter member of the World War II National Memorial in Washington, D.C., a member of the Women’s National Memorial, Washington, D.C., a member of the Northwest Florida Waves Unit 52, Pensacola, and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association, Pensacola, Branch 22. She retired from the Personnel Support Activity, Pensacola Naval Air Station in 1994. Isabel was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Goss; infant granddaughter, Francis Marie Goss; her daughter-in-law, Terri Goss; her parents, Sibley and Lena Jones and her great-granddaughter, Halee Nickole Boyd. She is survived by her three children; son, James Goss of Pensacola; daughter, Linda Goss (Dan) Boyd and son Daniel Goss, Sr. of Newport Richey; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
