Obituary of Barbara Elizabeth Smith Kenney

In Loving Memory Barbara Elizabeth Smith Kenney (June 5, 1940 – September 30, 2017) Our family circle has been broken; A link gone from our chain; But though we are parted for awhile; We know we’ll meet again. We shall meet with many a loved one; That was torn from our embrace; We shall listen to their voices; And behold them face to face. Sunshine passes, shadows fall; Love’s remembrance outlasts all. At the age of 77 years, of Pace, Florida passed in her home after a bout with Bladder and Bone Cancer. A “Celebration of Life” is planned for Saturday, October14, 2017 between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Bill and Sandra (Kenney) Miller. 5681 Hermosa Circle, Pensacola Florida 32526. Barbara was born in Mt. Airy, Maryland. She married her husband, Raymond Jerome Kenney, Sr. (deceased 1996) in Pensacola, Florida in 1967. Momma loved to garden, sew, and especially go fishing. When she was physically able she loved to ride horses and volunteer her time at St Anne’s Catholic Church. Momma never met a stranger and was well loved by many. She is survived by daughters, Sandra (Kenney) Miller, (Bill), and Samantha Kenney, sons, Ronnie Padgett, Joey Padgett, Raymond Kenney Jr., (Linda), and Michael Kenney; grandchildren, Ashley Kenney, Sommer Johnson, Jamie Miller. and many other loving relatives and friends. The family of Barbara would like to extend the extreme gratitude to the staffs of Regency Hospice, Primary Health Care and lastly our dear Linda Lambert for all that was done to ensure Momma’s comfort at all times. God has blessed us with people as wonderful as you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
