Obituary of Ronald Eugene Boyd

Ronald Eugene Boyd, 65, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Monday, September 4, 2017. Ronnie was born on April 9, 1952 in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from Tate High School in 1970 and he was an accomplished scholar and athlete. He graduated from Chipola JC and Birmingham Southern and attended on baseball scholarships. Ronnie was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Gabby and Lou Boyd. He is survived by sisters, Beth Taylor, Patsy Moye and Cindy Parker; one brother, Randy Boyd and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Spanish Trail Baptist Church, Pensacola, Florida. Visitation will be at 3:00pm with a service at 4:00pm.
