Obituary of Jean A. Boosa

Jean A. Boosa, 83, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. She was born on July 31, 1934 in San Bernadino, California to Karl E. and Elinor V. Criss. She was a longtime member of the Quayside Art Gallery and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She worked for Covenant Hospice as a volunteer coordinator for over ten years. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Edward R. Storm; son, Dustin Storm and sister, Sandy Moore. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Finis Boosa; children, Windy (Doug) Shoaf, Rory (Julia) Storm, David (Kay) Boosa, Darlene (Rickey) Traywick and Chester (Jean) Dearmon; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A special thank you to all the staff at Select Specialty Health and Rehabilitation Center and staff and volunteers at Covenant Hospice. A Funeral Procession will leave from Warrington Presbyterian Church, 406 S. Navy Boulevard, Pensacola, Florida 32507, on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00am for interment at Barrancas National Cemetery.
