Obituary of Ronald Elton Josh

Ronald Elton Josh, age 77, formally of Alliance, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home in Pensacola, Fl. Thursday the 20th day of April, 2017. An extremely handsome, intelligent, modest MSgt, USAF (Ret) and Vietnam veteran, Ron was born of humble parents, William Bernard Josh and Margaret Sidley Josh, in a log cabin,Oct 20, 1939, in Alliance, Ohio.A 1957 graduate of Alliance High School, he rose to an illustrious career as a non-commissioned officer in the US Air Force. He was also a graduate of the University of West Florida and further served mankind as a dedicated substitute middle school math and science teacher in Pensacola, Fl.While in Pensacola, he was an active participant in the ballroom dance community. Ron is survived by his daughter Kristy K. Hicks (Chris) of Franklin, NC, two step sons, Dean Lewis and Scott Lewis both of Florida, two grandchildren, Katie Lancaster of Grand Forks, N.D., Austin Hicks of Franklin,NC and two sisters Kay Brown of Alliance, OH and Gayle Radler (Lee)of Columbiana, OH.He was preceded in death by his parents. A private service will be held May 8th atBarrancas National Cemetery,located on Naval Air Station Pensacola, with full military honors. Family-Funeral & Cremation in Pensacola is in charge of arrangements.
