Obituary of Fowler, Charles Wayne 

Charles Wayne Fowler 1952-2016 Charles Wayne Fowler died at home unexpectedly November 2, 2016. He was born December 11, 1952 in Augusta, Ga. to Bonnia Jean Fowler and John Charles Fowler. Charles moved to Pensacola at the age of 3 where he attended Ferry Pass Elementary, Ferry Pass Jr. High and Pensacola Technical High School. Charles worked for years with the State of Florida Parks Department building structures in parks from the Florida Keys to Big Lagoon State Park. He also worked for Busch Gardens in Tampa. After that he applied his master carpentry skills by building and remodeling. He left his mark on many people’s properties with his talent and skills. He was a member of the Pirates of Lost Treasure Mardi Gras Krewe at Perdido Key and designed their pirate ship float which is still in use today. His hobbies included woodcarving and fishing. Chuck was an avid animal lover and protector. He met his devoted and loving wife, Carolyn, in 2001 and they married in 2004. Charles is preceeded in death by his mother, Bonnia, father, John and his grandmother, Ella Fowler and his grandfather Charles Fowler. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, daughter, April Waldrop, step daughter, Keely Erd, granddaughters, Ava, Camryn, Kylie Waldrop and Alahna and Alyssa Erd. Sisters, Loretta Swanson (Larry), Jackie Rich (Bobby), Sheri Belcher (Ed), Mary Watkins and Lisa Stuckey and brother, John Fowler. Uncle, Joe Fowler, cousins, Michael Fowler, Charles Story, David Story and Annette Salone and well as many nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews. Also his loyal, faithful German Shepherd, Queenie and a longtime family friend, Alfred Pate. Charles found God through his studies and practice of the Jehovah Witness faith. Pallbearers are Mike Fowler, John Fowler, Larry Swanson, Brian Leary, Jimmy Morris and Jesse Parazine. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 10:00 AM til 11:00 with services from 11:00 til 12:00 conducted by Earl Antone at Family Funeral and Cremation, 7253 Plantation Rd, Pensacola, Fl. 32504. Interment to follow at Bayview Memorial Park, 3351 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, Fl. 32503.
