Obituary of Joan Larae Luzier

Joan Larae Luzier "Peewee", 63 of Sykesville, PA, passed away on March 4, 2023 in Niceville, FL. Larae is the daughter of the late Walter & Joan "Gaylene" Jones. She was born on January 21, 1960 in Kittaining, PA. She grew up in Kittaining and Sykesville, PA and graduated from DuBois Area High School in 1977. She worked as a Contract Manager at Goodwill Industries for 35 years and she enjoyed spending time with her family and spending time at the beach. Larae is survived by her son, Kevin Eugene Yale and his wife Christine of Niceville, FL; sister, Donna Roy and her husband Bill of Sykesville, PA; brother, Arthur "Bud" Jones and his wife Kathy of Sykesville, PA; brother, Donald "Joe" Jones and his wife Jess of Sykesville, PA; seven grandchildren, Jakob, Eva, McKenna, Kevin, Thaliyah, Brynn, and Matteo; and many nieces and nephews. Larae is preceded in death by her partner, Frank Dragoone; son, Robert Kevin Yale; brother, Tom Jones and his wife Linda; and parents, Walter and Joan "Gaylene". She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. A Private memorial service will be held in Destin, FL at a later date. .
