Obituary of Mary Ann Aymard Alverson

Ann Aymard Alverson is a native of Pensacola, Florida with direct descendants who came to Northwest Florida in (1795). She has actively engaged in genealogy research of the Villar, Bonifay and Aymard families for (15) years. She is a graduate of Pensacola Catholic High School in 1954. Ann studied oil painting with (Maxine Carter, Pensacola, Florida). She has painted several oil canvasses of the waterways, florida and wildlife in Northwest Florida She was author of the manuscript from Paris to Pensacola published in the The Heritage of Escambia County, Florida. Heritage Publishing. Consultants 2004. Widow of Charles William Alverson who served in the United States Army and worked at the Naval Air Rework Facility in Pensacola for (31) years. Ann is the mother of two sons Charles David Alverson who has had a career in law enforcement in Northwest Florida for (20) years and Daniel Francis Alverson who served the country in the United States Air Force in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ann is an active member of United Daughters of the Confederacy, Pensacola Chapter #298 since 1999, and has researched and received certificates for seven 7) family members who fought in the Civil War. Secretary of Southern Dames of America, Pensacola Chapter, from 2012-2016. Received the Galvez Descendant Certificate in May 2013. She is the grandmother of two and great grandmother of four. A Service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 with visitation at 1:00 PM and A Rosary service at 2:00 PM at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627. N. Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503.
