1986 - 2023

In October 2022, Jamie contracted Covid and due to complications could not survive the devastating effects to her lungs. Surrounded by her loving family and after a life of pain and numerous health challenges, Jamie passed away on Wednesday, March 22. 

Jamie was an avid and talented gamer, writer, shopper and loyal friend to all, especially furry friends. With a quick sense of humor, she would be first to chime in with a comment that could leave you almost speechless.

Playing on many gaming systems while growing up with her brother Justin, she enjoyed spending time sharing tricks and knowledge. She loved to talk to everyone she met.

After graduation from high school and while attending Creative Writing courses at PJC (current PSC), Jamie started a novel about the mysteries of the spy world. Unfortunately, due to years of major joint replacements and major writers’ block, the novel series wasn’t completed.

A trait shared by her family, she loved all animals with a soft spot for rescues such as her pups, Jack and Stormy.

 Jamie is survived by her loving mother Barbara, father James and brother Justin.

Grandparents Melba and Ray, Aunt Becky and Uncle Philip, numerous cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her Nana, Mamie Kammerer.
