Obituary of Mary Beth Hamlin

Mary Beth Hamlin,59, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away at home on Thursday April 6, 2023. Mary Beth
was born Tuesday, September 3 1963 to John W Reardon and Mary J Curtis Reardon in Indianapolis,
Indiana. With her father in the military, Mary Beth was raised in different states throughout the U.S. She
spent most of her childhood in New York with her 6 siblings. Once they moved to Pensacola, Mary Beth
knew she had found home, where she would marry and have two children. She later went on to become
a legal assistant for a family firm, helping many clients through difficult times with prayer and kindness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Jo, and the father of her children, Jeff Smith.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Tyler and Christie; granddaughter, Madison,
siblings, Jack Reardon, Peggy Wilcox, Jo Ann Costenza, Suzanne Norrow, Karen Reardon, and Julie
Fielder; former spouse and close friend, Paul Hamlin; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends.
Mary was a proud mother and grandmother, she loved to see her children thriving. She enjoyed anytime
she had to spend with her family and friends, and especially loved weekends spent at Blue Lake for
Emmaus walks. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held at Family Funeral and Cremation on Thursday April 13, 2023 at 10 am followed
by a funeral service at 11 am. Mary will be interred at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens following the
services.
