Obituary of John Herbert Beasley

John Herbert Beasley of Pensacola Florida, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, June 29,
2023. John was born Tuesday, February 6, 1945 to Reynolds A. Beasley and Lucretia Bodiford Beasley in
Montgomery, Alabama. John was a life ling resident of Pensacola; he along with his father owned and
operated Beasley Jewelers for 52 years. John also retired from the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and acted as
Captain of the Ferry Pass Fire Department.
John joins in Heaven his parents Reynolds and Lucretia Beasley; sister, Bonnie Culbertson; and grandson,
Carl Wayne Powell.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Vivian Midge Beasley; children, Carol Myers (Gary),
and Carl Powell (Donna); adopted children, Catherine Morris, and Dwayne Morris; grandchildren,
Kimberly Moore, Jennifer Powell; great-grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Autumn
Rivera, Lexis Moore, Bradley Bonner and Kenneth Flannigan; niece, Amanda Stephanie; brothers-in-law, Wayne Williams,
and Donnie Culbertson; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday July 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm.
Services will be held at Family Funeral and Cremation, 5627 N Davis Hwy Pensacola, FL 32503. Andy
Lollie to officiate
John was a wonderful, husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a pillar in his community; he will be
dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
