Obituary of Jannett E. Dorley

Jannett Eileen Dorley of Crestview, Florida was called home on August 15, 2023.  She was born at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada to William and Bonnie Dorley.

Jannett grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and moved to Crestview in 2006.  Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her 5 beautiful children and Granny to 2 special grand babies.  Jannett loved spending time with her family and friends and also helping those in need.  No matter what she was going through if you needed  her she was there.  She loved family gatherings and cooking her famous greens.  She loved dancing and playing with the kids.  She was a licensed insurance agent in Fort Walton Beach for many years and  loved her job.

Jannett is survived by her parents, William and Bonnie Dorley; siblings, Michelle (Alan), Terri, Michael, Blake and Ashley (Luna); children, Lea, Meika, Jalin, Cayden and Myana; grandchildren, Jezlyn and Rameek; nieces and nephews, Josh, Blake, Lauren, Brea, Kai, Keidra, Keondre, Keindyl, Chris, Raph, David, Izzy, Kanija and Direz; sis-in-love, Shirelle and Granddaddy;  and the love of her life, Jeremy Thomas who showed her true love through sickness and health.

 

A funeral will be held on Saturday, August 26th at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, 339 Lake Dr., Fort Walton Beach, FL.
