Obituary of Bill Bowen

William M. Bowen born on December 24, 1942 in Little Valley, NY, went to be with the Lord on August 15th, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Bill passed at home with his son, Shane and daughter in law, Sandy by his side. 

Bill proudly served 20 years in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Upon his return home he settled into a 25 plus year career as a lifeline to others as an owner/operator driving a semi-truck cross country.

Bill was a huge football fan and loved the Buffalo Bills. He loved family time most of all, enjoying a cold beer, and the occasional cigar, and was quick to pull up a stool and trade war stories. 

Bill is survived by his sister, Barbara (Jim) Hammond of Little Valley NY; his son, Shane (Sandy) Bowen; granddaughter, Madison Ruiz; and great-grandchildren Paisley and Marcel of Pensacola, FL along with several nieces and nephews.
