Obituary of Larry Dean Cyr

Larry Dean Cyr, 59, of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away peacefully on September 16 th, 2023 . He was born in Anchorage, Alaska on September 19 th, 1963, to LaVance Cyr and Romeo Joseph Cyr.

Larry attended Fort Walton Beach High School class of 1982. Larry worked for Henderson Electric, as an electrician for many years, a mechanic, enjoyed off-road motorsports, greasy hands, and had a passion for medium rare steak.  Larry was a loving son, father, grandfather and uncle. He is survived by his mother; life partner of 30 years, Bridget Brown;  son, Brandon Cyr (wife Selena); Brother, Steven Cyr (wife Kathy); Sisters, Brenda and Deborah; Bridget’s children, Josh and Amy Brown; Grandchildren, Maddison, James and Miller; niece, Emily and grand-dog John Wayne. Larry is preceded in death by his father.

Larry will forever be remembered by his love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held at Liza Jackson Park of Fort Walton Beach on October 5th, 2023 at 6pm.
