Obituary of Hilton Ward Rasmussen

Hilton Ward Rasmussen, age 72, of Crestview, Florida  passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 after an extended illness.  He was born on August 18, 1951 in Anchorage, Alaska.  Hilton was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Hilton had a good heart and loved fishing.  He was an avid collector of all kinds of guns.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughters, Ilena and Jodi and son, David.  His grandchildren and great-grandkids brought him immense joy.  Hilton also had a love for Star Wars and SYFY movies.

He is survived by his daughters, Ilena Rasmussen, Christy Eshelman, and Jodi Roll; sons, Jerry Rasmussen and David Wilkinson; grandchildren, Amanda (Adam) Polk, Marty Wilkinson, and Rae Kelly Rasmussen; brothers, Keith and George Rasmussen; nephew and niece, Jonathan and Salena; great-grandchildren, Eli, Xavier, Phoenix, and Nova Polk; and his long time friend, Carolyn Rasmussen.  Hilton's best buddy was his dog, Muggins.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Rasmussen and wife, Sheila Rasmussen.

Hilton had a successful career as the owner of Southern Comfort /Air in Moorcroft, Wyoming, and later as the owner of Hilton's HVAC Crestview, FL.  He was skilled in HVAC and took pride in his work.

In accordance with his wishes, Hilton requested no services.
