Obituary of Carol Janet Wood

Carol Janet Wood (Hill) of Pensacola, FL. Passed away September 28, 2023 at the age of 81. Carol was born to Blaine Lee Hill and Emogene “Helen” Summer Hill in Unionville, MO, where she was raised along with 4 siblings.  After graduating Unionville High School, Carol went on to earn her degree in Cosmetology, was a million-dollar producer at Advantage Credit and State Wide Data, top sales rep, and a restaurant cook. She was a strong, loving, wonderful, and successful mother.  She raised four children by herself and always made sure holidays were extra special.

 

Carol will join in Heaven her parents Blain and Helen Hill; husband, Tommie L. Sr Brandon; son, Tommie L Jr Brandon, sisters, Linda Soukup  and Mary Harlen; and brother, Jimmy Hill.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol E. Long, Deanna Steig, and Joann Johnson; sister, Sandra Ross; grandchildren, Alicia Langevin, Sara Mann, Stephanie Duncan, Brittney Johnson, Joshua Rose, Christopher Rose,  Anthony Johnson, and Nickolas Whitlock; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
