Obituary of William Roan Bush

William “Roan” Bush, 59, of Navarre, Florida, left the life he loved on Sunday, October 8, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. A native of Macon, GA, he served in the Army as a Scrub Tech before obtaining his nursing degree. He retired after serving many years as a competent and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse. 

Roan is preceded in death by his father, William Cleveland Bush of Macon, GA; and mother, Angela Bennett Bush Tomberlin of Warner Robins, GA.

Roan is survived by his loving wife, Alicia Bush of Navarre, FL; daughters, Kristina Bush of Navarre, Fl, and Hollie Brown (Alex) of Pace, FL; 2 granddaughters; step-father, George “Don” Tomberlin of Warner Robins, GA; brothers, Kevin Bush of Macon, GA, and Danny Bush of Pensacola, FL; sister, Frances Hutto (Larry) of Bainbridge, GA as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who have become family. 

Services will be held in Roan’s honor on Friday, October 13, 2023, with a visitation at 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 pm at Family Funeral and Cremation, 5627 N Davis Hwy Pensacola, FL 32503. In lieu of sending flowers, donations can be made to Navarre Beach Marine Science Station.
