Obituary of Ron Cook

William Ronnie “Ron” Cook, 82, passed away Friday October 6, 2023 at his home. Ron was born
Thursday June 12, 1941 in Alexander City, AL, the first son of the late William “Pete” Cook and Jean
Scarborough Cook.
Ron was a long-time resident of Gulf Breeze, FL, having retired from Otis/Halliburton after many faithful
years of service. He was loved and admired by his many friends and family.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Linda Conover Cook; son, Clinton Cook; siblings, Phil Cook, Dorothy
Legg, and Vickie Smith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who became family.
A memorial service will be held in Ron’s honor at St. Paul United Methodist Church of Gulf Breeze, FL on
Friday October 13, 2023 at 10:00 am
