Obituary of Elizabeth Daniel Roland

Elizabeth Daniel Hope Roland, 71, of Molino, Florida, went home to be with the Lord and Bear Bryant while surrounded by her two children and other family on October 17 th, from natural causes. Most knew her by Liz.

Liz was born and raised in Atmore, Alabama and then raised her family in Bratt, Florida with her husband Mike Hope, until his passing. Later in life she then moved to Molino, Florida and this is where she yelled “Roll Tide Roll” until her passing.

Liz was an employee of Dollar General in Molino, Florida after retiring from a nursing career of many years. She was one of the most kind, caring, selfless, outspoken, Alabama football love’n women to walk this earth. She was a strong believer in Christ, she believed in the importance of family, hard work, and just doing what is right. She had no hesitation telling you exactly what was on her mind, good or bad, regardless of who you were. One of her other favorite hobbies was to drown a few worms and rip the lips off a few brim. Liz was “Simply The Best!”

One small piece of advice from Liz for everyone in her passing “It’s Hot On the Top Side”

Liz is survived by her two children: Amanda (Jeremy) Kelley and Preston (Jessica) Hope, three grandchildren: Dalton, Taylor and Jimmy Pylate, two brothers and three sisters: Cecil (Linda) Daniel, John (Barbara) Daniel, Mary Lee Smith, Glenda (David) Shields, Emily (Gerald) Jones. She was Proceeded by her first husband Michael Hope as well as her second husband Alvin Roland, her parents: W T and Petty Bell Daniel and three brothers: George (GW) Daniel, Thomas Daniel, Joe (Pam) Daniel.

Liz would appreciate anyone attending her service at Godwin Cemetery on Saturday November 18th, to wear their favorite Alabama attire and be prepared to Yell Roll Tide Roll!!!
