Deacon, Joseph Cobb age, 72 transitioned to his Heavenly Father, Saturday, November 3, 2023, at his home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida

He was born November 28, 1950 in Ponce de Leon, Florida to the late Douglas and Kummie Stucky Cobb, also, proceeding him in death, siblings, Burnice, Douglas Jr., Timon, Edward, Lorenzo, Dee, Vince, Mini, and John.

At a young age, Joseph went to job corps in Texas, where he developed skills as a meat cutter.  He was also a Deacon in Emporia, Kansas.  Joseph worked in refineries, dairy plants, warehouses, and shipyards.  He finally retired with Oscar Mayer Foods in Madison, Wisconsin.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved watching his western shows.  Joseph could tell you who an actor was, who they married, who they divorced, if they became bankrupt, and could tell you when they died.  Around Fort Walton he was known as the fish man.  He would go around and through the neighborhoods and sell fish with the love of his life, Ruby.

Joseph is survived by his son, Leonardo Cobb (Jennifer); bonus grandchildren, Larry Tripplet, and Kierra and Jayla Ferguson of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Chiquita (David) Johnson; grandchildren, Sarina, Elijah, and Jeremiah of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Demetria Cobb of Los Angeles, California; David Cobb (Debbie) of Plant City, Florida; sisters, Janie Mae Peterson of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Julia Ann Walker of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Aster Lee Randolph (Theodis) of Ponce de Leon, Florida; sister-in-laws, Monica Cobb of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Eleanor Cobb of Brooklyn, New York; ex-wife, Betty Dukes of San Diego, California; love of his life, Ruby Head; bonus daughters, Natasha Head, Nikita Head, Deloris Garvin (Teron), Cornelia Rotus (Christian), and Audrey Cathy (Bobby); bonus grandkids, Tanishia, Tashyra, Tidra, Da'Vian, Andrea, Nehru, Dehaven, Queen, and Liberty; a host of other grands and great grandkids; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, cousins and friends.  Let's not forget his faithful dog Tigger!
