Obituary of Rachel Lorraine Hof

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Rachel Hof of Pensacola, Florida. Our precious Rachel
fought a valiant batle with cancer, but eventually succumbed on November 6, 2023 at the age of 49.
She was at peace and surrounded by her loved ones, who severely grieve, but will honor her legacy.

Rachel was a passionate nurse who excelled in all things, but most especially caring for others. Having
completed her BSN, she loved instructing at Pensacola State college and working in the surgical intensive
care unit of Baptist Hospital. She deservedly carried a great deal of pride for her chosen profession. Both
her patients and colleagues understood her professional expertise, and many of us were fortunate
enough to experience her incredible bedside care.

Our beautiful Rachel found such joy in the simple things of life. She loved nothing more than spending
time with her family and her two westie puppies. A perfect day for her would be to walk the dogs, have
family over, plant new flowers in the garden, and try a new recipe. She ran a tight ship at home, and
would suffer neither fools nor messes. It is impossible to describe how much we love and miss her. She
is survived by her loving husband Scot; her children Miles, Riley, and Regan; sisters Sarah, Abbey, and
Emily; and mother Marilyn.
