Obituary of Luz Maria Cotto-Castro

Luz Maria Cotto, 92, of Pensacola FL, gently passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, surrounded by family.

 

She was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The wife of Eligio Walker (deceased) for 74 years. Mother of five children, Migdalia, Carlos, Jaime, Rafael and Edwin; grandmother, and great grandmother.

 

She spent all of her life as a homemaker taking care of her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

She is survived by her sister Hilda Rosa, five children, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

 

A mass of remembrance will be held on December 30th, at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Oldsmar FL. Interment will follow in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at a later date.
