Obituary of Judy Carol Nelson Lacy

Judy Carol Nelson Lacy age 73 passed away peacefully in her home on December 18th.

She grew up in Boaz, AL and has lived in Jay for around 37 years.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Dot Nelson.

She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Lacy, son David Garmon, daughter Chelsea Garmon, grandsons Logan and Ethan, as well as two more who called her Nana just the same, (Sophie and Mattox), Becky (2nd daughter), brothers Kenneth(Jane)Nelson and Jimmy Nelson, as well as other family members in north Alabama.

She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and Nana. She enjoyed cooking, planting beautiful flowers, and spending all the time she could with her family and friends. To know her was to love her as she was very humble and genuine.

A memorial service will take place in the near future.
